COVID-19 Statement

William Johnston & Company Limited continues to monitor the current outbreak of COVID-19 and advice and information from the UK and Scottish governments.

As suppliers to local hospitals, food manufacturing, whisky distilleries (some now making hand sanitiser) and the UK water and gas distribution networks, the company is continuing to manufacture its vital sealing products.

In line with Government guidance we take the health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers extremely seriously, and have implemented the following actions:

Our factories and offices in Glasgow and Inverness remain operational, and we are working closely with our supply chain and logistic partners, both local and globally, to ensure we maintain security of supply to our customers.

We have established and continue to build additional inventory safeguards on both sites.

All non-business critical travel has been cancelled or postponed.

Only business critical visitors are being allowed onto our sites.

Contingency plans have been made to allow employees to rotate and work from home where possible.

All employees have been briefed on the steps to take to minimize the risk of spreading the virus.

The company is reviewing the situation on a day by day basis and will provide any updates as things change.
