William Johnston & Company Limited have supplied cork gaskets and joints since 1946. Alongside the company’s focus on improving efficiency in joint integrity, emission and leakage reduction through material selection, we actively promote the use of “green” materials.

The environmental and socio-economic importance of the cork oak forest is so valuable that several organisations, inducing the WWF, the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) and the European Cork Federation (C. E. Liège), have developed initiatives aimed at encouraging good practices and rewarding agro-forestry owners who contribute to improving essential services of the cork oak forest ecosystem.
