Closed Cell Sponge
We offer Closed Cell Sponge in Neoprene, EPDM and Neoprene/EPDM blends. Also, our super-soft variety of Nitrile sponge which is ideal for gasketing and sealing applications that require a very soft, compressible material. These sponges are extremely impermeable to water, and good choices for shock absorption, weather sealing and thermal barriers. Available in Soft, Medium, Medium-firm, Firm and extra-firm densities

Silicone Sponge
Silicone Sponges are excellent materials for gasketing and padding applications that require a soft, compressible material. The closed cells of these sponges prevent water absorption. These materials also provide the ozone, weather and UV resistance typical of silicone. Available in a range of densities, colour, sheet, extruded profile and with or without self-adhesive backing.

Open Cell Sponge
Open Cell Sponges are gasketing and padding materials composed of connected cells that allow air or gas to pass through when compressed. These sponges offer good compression set characteristics, and typically rebound faster than closed cell sponges. Available in Soft to Medium densities. Can be class O fire rated. Cryogenic insulation options are also available. Used for wiping on adhesive labels and as foam rollers. If you have an application issue please talk to us.

Density

Density continues to be one of the most misunderstood properties of foams. Some people mentally relate density to the firmness of foams, and that relationship is totally incorrect.  Density is independent of firmness. Foams with an extremely wide range of hardness can be made at an extremely wide range of densities.
