Rubber Extrusions

William Johnston & Company Limited offer vulcanized rubber extrusions up to 280 mm wide from solid and sponge rubber compounds. These can be produced in single or twin polymers, in a range of colours and complex profiles to meet our customer’s specification.

Working for a number of industries – aerospace, marine, signage, automotive, construction, military, engineering, packaging and medical – we manage entire projects from start to completion or more relevantly from ‘problem’ to ‘solution’. We have full prototype capabilities and can cater for small orders and high volume production lines.

Solid rubber
Commonly used for glazing and throughout the automotive industry for pipes and seals, solid rubber can be single or co-extruded to combine different colours and materials. Most rubbers have excellent heat and fuel resistant qualities.

Sponge rubber
Sponge rubber profiles are extremely low density and often used in marine, drainage and automotive applications. We can also co-extrude twin polymer heat vulcanized rubber profiles. We offer fast turnaround and work closely with all our customers to maintain competitively priced, quality products that can be relied on time and again.
