Valve Cones

William Johnston & Company Limited have been involved with the manufacture and supply of WRC/WRAS approved EPDM valve cones for several years. Valve cones are an approved method of sealing potable water valves where a conventional braided stuffing box packing has been previously used.

Easy and quick to install the range offered will suit all sizes of valve listed in the table below. The company is ISO approved for quality within manufacture and maintains ongoing quality checks to maintain its reputation as one of the leaders in the gasket and sealing industry. These cost effective seals are quicker to install and last longer than a conventional packing.

The valve stem diameter should be identical to the measurement given. The shaft or stuffing box diameter should be equal to or less than the measurement indicated above.
